How it works
- As a member, you send us your question. Asking costs nothing extra.
- Within two working days we tell you whether we can take it on, and send you a quote. Most requests cost around £75.
- If you accept the quote, you pay and we start.
- You get a written answer with sources within 10 working days. If we can't deliver it, you get a full refund.
What we can look into
Fees and membership tiers, reciprocal arrangements and how to book them, joining requirements and waiting lists, and whether a club accepts candidates without an existing member to propose them.
Where possible, we can also get first-hand views from current members: what the club is like day to day, who uses it, and how welcoming it is to new members. This depends on members being willing to talk, so we can't promise it for every club. Members' views are shared anonymously.
What we don't do
We don't obtain members-only documents, share members' personal details, or arrange proposals for membership. What we learn may be added to the directory, without anything that identifies you.
